From there, players can sign in to an Epic Games account and their friends list will be populated with the ability to invite players from the Epic Games Store version of Killing Floor 2 into a Steam party. Killing Floor 2 is cross-play ready and allows current users to connect with specific friends across versions by enabling ‘Steam to EGS’ invites when loading into the main menu. Killing Floor 2 will be free for one week, so anyone intent on annihilating zeds should grab it on the Epic Games Store before July 16. Once logged in and at the Killing Floor 2 page, click “Get,” and Killing Floor 2 will be added to the player’s Library, free of charge.
